With an MFA in Film Production from the University of British Columbia, a graduate degree in English Literature (Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, I can add value to a wide range of communication roles.
After growing up in various countries, my artistic development has coiled itself around one central question - what makes a film truly global? What kind of themes and formal elements help us transcend language barriers with ease?

Training
I have 5 years of experience in scripted content production, capped off with my most recent job as a Creative Director at Dice Media - Pocket Aces - India's leading digital content company. During this time, I collaborated in conceptualising and developing 2 highly successful properties, one of them racking up over 150 million views across 2 seasons.
Vision
During my Master of Fine Arts at UBC, I started my journey of consciously trying to answer this question.
I experimented by blending the poetic, scripted qualities of narrative dramas with the pathos and immersion of unscripted conversational forms.
In terms of my technical skills, I am well versed with the Adobe Creative Suite, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Floor Planner.
'Swingvision' - spec commercial - teaser - A spec commercial made for an app that aids amateur tennis players through real time data. A non actor was used in this project to appeal directly to the user base.

Snippet - 'Beyond Recall' - An 11 minute documentary that uses form to explore how memory is affected by intellectual disabilities.

Snippet - 'Influen(c)za - a 30 minute short that chronicles the migrant labour crisis in India caused by the pandemic. The story revolves around a disenfranchised muslim labourer in India, who finds her hobby of making Tik Toks exploited by her employers.
